Griffin Exotic Wood

Burmese Rosewood
(dalbergia cultrate)
origin:  Thailand

This is a beautiful rosewood from southeast Asia.  The color may be like that seen above or darker with deeper reds, or is sometimes orangish.  It can even be almost a deep red in some cases, which is usually due to longer exposure to light.  There is a nice variegation in some of the grain, too.  The picture above has been adjusted to more accurately show the depth of the color. NOTE: This is now a very rare wood, like most other rosewoods it is becoming unavailable and no new shipments have been brought in for years. We expect to go out of stock, like all other vendors in the USA already seem to be.

unless specified otherwise.
