Rare pieces in this hard to find wood. These pieces are dried and do not have the usual defects most vendors sell them with. But always be aware that some extra care needs to be used for this wood. You can split or crack it if you overheat it while sanding, so please avoid that. It isn't super sensitive but one good thing is that if you do have a small check forming you can use black superglue on the check and it actually adds to the look! It is the only wood I can think of where you can get away with that! We did our best with pics, but unfortunately we could not do these pieces justice in photos . .

Rare black and white ebony in high quality pieces without the rot, holes and cracks that they are usually sold with. These are dried, and after drying the high quality pieces are removed from much larger boards. The pieces of this quality are maybe 1/5 of the board on average after they are dried. Some pieces had small spalted areas we hardened with superglue. They are solid pieces though. Difficult to get and further supplies may not be possible for an unknown period of time.

Rare dried pieces in Black and White Ebony. Most vendors sell wet, cracked, checked and rotted pieces at prices higher than this (up to double), these are far better than that and cheaper too! We took years to slow dry them and with the thick ones especially it is quite a challenge as they crack like crazy when drying in most cases. Once dry they are fairly stable with the one caveat that you should not overheat them when sanding as that can cause checking. We cut the good pieces out of larger boards to produce these. We do have some larger pieces with the defects in them if you are handy with glue/epoxy to make them whole again--email us if interested.

Brazil Tulipwood F-K micro boards
Super rare genuine Rosewood, Brazilian Tulipwood. Last imported around 2012 into the US and no longer imported. These are all high quality pieces. Typically most sellers are selling pieces (if they have it) that are checked, have insect holes and edge cracks. These are far better than that, they are high quality pieces without noticeable defects. Basically we just cut down the bigger boards the other vendors sell and get these small pieces without all the problems areas that are typical. Nearly gone from market. We are selling below the price of the only other vendor we could find and they do allow some small cracks (we don't).
