African Blackwood fingerboards

African blackwood is a genuine Rosewood. One of the best woods for musical uses. These are suitable for musical projects and any other project as the quality is very high. They were stacked under pressure and dried flat. The tag I wrote said 11/20/2009 when I put them in the stack, so they are long past dry now. Likely around 8-9% and they are very nice. All cut from the same piece of wood and they really are very similar in color regardless what the camera shows. With this wood a more sanded area looks really dark compared to rough cut areas.
