Bog Oak 1 to 13

Bog Oak from Ukraine. This wood is extremely old (most recent carbon dating is 7560 years ago) and also unique (comes from a salt bog rather than fresh water bog). The salt crystals are visible and can either be left in for uniqueness or removed. Removing the salt is either a matter of plucking them out with a pin or adding something to the surface to dissolve them. I have used water, but an oil for finishing might also work. They are dried and ready to use. Supports a small producer in Ukraine.
