Cordia Burl 1to11

Cordia Burl, dried pieces from the island of Vanuatu in the South Pacific.   Cordia burl itself is almost unknown on the US market, but these have rare GG+ quality.  Most cordia burl has scattered large eyes.   The wood is high density, similar to really black ebony, but it does sand easily anyway.     Super rare.   A small burl usually, the weight is amazing even when dry.

Also called Ecuador Laurel.   Latin name is:  Cordia alliodora
