Laos Ironwood Burl AtoE

Laos Ironwood Burl (xylia kerrii) is a great red super dense burl that comes from the country of Laos. While there is no way to currently get more, we thought we’d release almost all we have left. Note that this burl has plenty of natural divets, gaps and holes and we’ve taken a great deal of time with these to fill them to the greatest degree possible working from the outer surface. Do expect you might have to deal with some natural divets or splits inside, it is possible in some. We usually glue these first with the thinnest superglue for the maximum depth of penetration and then move on to a thicker glue, usually medium weight brown superglue, but also medium heavy black superglue in some cases depending on the look you want to create.
