Lignum Vitae Figured 25-29

Genuine lignum Vitae (guiacum officinale) in ultra rare figured grain. When we got this load of lignum vitae back in 2007, about one in 500 pieces or less were figured. Of those, the vast majority were badly cracked (the figured areas seem to be around the crotch of the tree where cracks are much more prevalent). We have almost no wood like this left, and there is virtually no hope of ever getting something like this again.

Note that most pieces have been glued somewhere to fix a natural bark slit or other natural defect. Expect to glue them some more once you get into them, as I can only reach so far from the outside but did my utmost to make it easier for you.
