Oak of Abraham from Israel

Oak of Abraham, or Oak of Mamre is a rare oak from Israel. We got our limited supply because a road was being expanded close to the original Oak of Mamre, in the Palestinian territory. This type of oak is a bit different from White or Red Oak from the USA. The grain is finer and apparently it is a slow growing tree due to the desert enviroment. We just have a few dozen of these and cannot get more. We did attempt to get more, but were sent white oak from the USA in its place, so looks like this is the end of these rare pieces. Most of these have been soaked in superglue that was then sanded off. This was to fix the many small flaws that most of the wood from Israel comes with. They are all usuable and solid pieces now.
