Snakewood pc X

This is a small snakewood bowl blank. It is real challenge even to get a bowl blank this size. The largest good one we ever got (from thousands of pounds of logs) was 2 x 5.75 x 5.75 inches. A very rare item. I have inspected this piece and it looks good, but expect any piece of snakewood to develop some small checks during working, this is normal and very likely 90% of time . Be ready with thin superglue as gluing the checks right away can make them invisible after finishing. Not a wood for newbie, snakewood is usually challenging.
