Vitex Burl

Rare and almost unknown burl from Southeast Asia. It is not normally seen for sale, and I have not in the last 20 years to see any for sale in the USA other than the last pieces I offered. These were first dried carefully which took extra care due to the extreme density of this wood. After that each piece was cut and glued usually dozens of times to fill all the natural gaps (these are not cracks!). You don’t have to fill the natual fissures but we think it is easier for our customers to use these this way. The first and last photo have the most accurate color.
