These pieces are completely dried. Super hard to find in this quality and dry, virtually gone from the market.
Piece K
9/16 x 1 5/8 x 9.5 inches
Australian Blackwood 1-6
Wonderful dried and figured pieces that look just like Koa, at a much lower price. These all came from a very large slab. It was part of the outside of a large tree and every bit of it was highly figured. Some Australian blackwood looks more like the photo at the top of this page, but this slab produced pieces that look so much like koa I cannot tell them apart from Koa, and I cannot guarantee that this isn't really koa that was mis-identified as Aussie Blackwood.

Bethlehem Olivewood Atoi
Olivewood from tree branches in Bethlehem Israel. Since they can only cut the branches (so the trees won't be damaged), the wood does have some defects. We have glued these with superglue to minimize any defects that are inherent in all Bethlehem Olive Blanks. Dried pieces. Certificate available, just request in the comments in the shopping cart when checking out.

Black & White Ebony 423-429
Really tough to find this wood sold dried, usually it is green. These have been tested to be 12% or less with a moisture meter that adjusts for the species, other meters don't work well. NOTES: some of the pieces have been smeared with super glue clear/black which was then sanded off
Piece 426

Black Ebony 410to415
Dried Black Ebony. Shown bare wood for an accurate view. We are one of the only sellers anywhere that will put photos online of ebony without a darkening finish. You can see the finished color by looking at the end which has a finish on it. See notes on photos. These are generally rare pieces, and pieces like 410 cannot be imported as the last import of black thicker pieces that we can find was in 2008. We cannot replace black pieces over 1.5 inches thick. Pieces may be sprayed with a clear finish to protect them during shipping.
Piece 411
Black Ebony, dried (ready to work), size: 1 15/16 x 2 x 5 3/8 inches. Note: this piece has some tiny pin holes, discounted for that reason.
Black Palm Squares (ALL DRIED)
Black Palm is one of those unique woods that belong in the list of exotics. It is easy to sand and has some characteristics different from other woods. You'll find the black part is less absorbent than the white/light part. This means that the light part will darken somewhat if you don't use a sanding sealer to prevent it from absorbing whatever finish you use. Both appearances are good, but for more contrast use a sanding sealer.

Bloodwood 17to27
High quality DRIED bi-color bloodwood. We have taken the extensive period of time to slow dry these, and then remove any defects after the drying is over. These have variegated colors and they were picked for that different look. 17 has a burly figure near the top. Figure is very rare in bloodwood. Providing this dried defect free wood is at least 4 times as much labor and about 30% more expensive for materials as providing wet waxed wood which may or may not have cracks. Our standard is much higher than the normal industry average.
Piece 18
Bloodwood, dried, size: 2 x 2 x 12 inches
Piece 21
Bloodwood, dried, size: 2 x 2 x 11 inches
Piece 25

Bloodwood 28to38
Dried Bloodwood in the high grade primo color. There is a small percentage of bloodwood with this color so these are normally considered "selected best". Dried over long periods slowly to avoid the degrade caused by kiln drying bloodwood. (Bloodwood is notorious for getting internal (totally hidden) checks that run the length of the piece on the inside when kiln dried about 1.25 inches thick). This is a precious wood that will be harder to get the future. Brazil is trying to lockdown most all wood cutting by 2030, or before. Brazil is the only good source of this wood unless you want cardinalwood which is a usually brown wood with faint red tones that grows in other countries.
