Craft Blanks
Australian Blackwood 1-6
Wonderful dried and figured pieces that look just like Koa, at a much lower price. These all came from a very large slab. It was part of the outside of a large tree and every bit of it was highly figured. Some Australian blackwood looks more like the photo at the top of this page, but this slab produced pieces that look so much like koa I cannot tell them apart from Koa, and I cannot guarantee that this isn't really koa that was mis-identified as Aussie Blackwood.

Black & White Ebony 1 - 11
Dried pieces are rarely for sale in Black and White ebony. We took the years necessary to slow dry it to avoid defects or cut them out as necessary. It is one of the most difficult exotic woods to dry without defects, warpage and cell collapse. Once dry it is fairly stable though. Ready to use.
Piece 4
Black & White Ebony, Dried, size: 1 3/16 x 1.25 x 12 inches
Black & White Ebony 423-429
Really tough to find this wood sold dried, usually it is green. These have been tested to be 12% or less with a moisture meter that adjusts for the species, other meters don't work well. NOTES: some of the pieces have been smeared with super glue clear/black which was then sanded off

Lumber
Black & White Ebony 20 - 25
Dried micro lumber in this rare true type of Ebony. These were dried for years under careful conditions and are ready to use. Normally this wood is sold wet, making it very difficult for the home woodworker, since this type of wood is one of the most difficult of all exotics to dry without getting large amounts of cracks and warpage. Once dry it is fairly stable though.

Piece 23
Black & White Ebony, Dried, size: 1.5 x 2 5/8 x 6 inches
Black & White Ebony 26 - 31
Dried Black and White Ebony micro lumber. This wood type is hard to get now due to import restrictions in the main country it comes from: Laos. Usually sold wet, but we decided this wood needed to be dried before sale because in some situations it is near impossible to dry without problems. We deal with the problems on our end and send good wood that you can use right out of the box.
